Sanctum ("Sanctum", "we", "us", or "our") is operated by Jatin Madaan, an individual seller ("Seller"). By accessing or using Sanctum (the "Service") you enter into a binding agreement with the Seller.
By creating an account, accessing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using Sanctum on behalf of an organization or family, you confirm you have authority to bind them, and that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.
Sanctum provides daily prayer, Scripture reading, journaling, reading plans, audio prayers, and family devotional features. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
The Service, including software, content, design, and branding, is owned by the Seller or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your subscription plan.
You retain ownership of journal entries, prayer requests, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service to you and your family circle.
Sanctum offers a 7-day free trial followed by a paid subscription (monthly or annual). Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing frequency, applicable taxes, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account or through paddle.net.
See our Refund Policy for the applicable refund period and how to request a refund.
We work hard to keep Sanctum available, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security incidents. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, we may delete your data after a reasonable export window, unless we are legally required to retain it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such limitation is not permitted by law.
You will indemnify and hold the Seller harmless from claims arising out of your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by notice in the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Seller's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
